The City of Charleston has been designing and constructing a new stormwater tunnel and pump station system since the mid 2000’s. This system will help alleviate flooding issues that have plagued the City in the lower lying areas around Spring and Fishburne street.

Conti Enterprises is currently the general contractor completing Division II which will install the pump station structure, screening equipment, rise well pumps, and outfall flumes.

Conti selected BRW as a subcontractor to complete the installation of the mechanical equipment, pumps, piping and related appurtenances for this Division of work.

Concrete construction is underway with mechanical installation slated to begin in mid 2021. Full project completion is late 2022.
